Malpractice

Legal Malpractice

Attorneys must use that degree of care, skill and diligence ordinarily used by their professional peers in the same or a similar community. The failure to exercise such care is legal malpractice. The victim of such malpractice is entitled by law to be compensated for the losses caused by such malpractice. Please contact us for a free first interview if you or your family have been the victim of legal malpractice.

Medical Malpractice

A person who has suffered serious injury or death as a result of the fault or carelessness of a medical provider has a medical malpractice claim. This does not mean, however, that all health problems are evidence of medical malpractice. Malpractice occurs only when a physician fails to exercise that degree of care, skill and diligence used by ordinarily careful physicians in the same or a similar community. For example, if a doctor fails to diagnose a condition that later becomes incurable because it was not detected in its early stages, or surgically operates on the wrong body part, or fails to inform the patient of important laboratory results, this may be malpractice. If you believe you are the victim of medical malpractice, contact us for a free interview to review the case and determine your rights.

Professional Malpractice

Doctors, dentists, lawyers, accountants and other professionals are held to a high standard of care because of the importance of matters entrusted to them. They must be licensed and certified by government authorities to practice their professions. When they make mistakes, the harms that follow can be enormous. When a professional violates the standard of care required in his profession, then he is responsible for the harms caused by his mistakes. If you have been the victim of professional malpractice, please contact us for a free interview to learn about your rights.
